I am a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a registered art therapist with the Canadian Art Therapy Association. I am also a clinical trauma specialist with the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children and have completed the Addiction Studies Certificate at McMaster University. I have worked in the mental health field for the past fifteen years helping children, adolescents and young adults draw from within in order to develop their skills and abilities. My specialties include working with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, anger management, self-esteem, disordered eating, addictions, grief, loss and trauma. I have been trained in empirically validated therapies such as dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy and solution focused therapy. My approach is to utilize the best treatment practice to meet your specific needs. In addition to my private practice, I work in the forensic mental health field supporting adolescents as they make connections to their past pain, present situation and future opportunities. I instruct at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute and provide personal growth and team building workshops to several organizations.
